“(…)Bjergbestigeren er således enkel, melodisk, instrumental jazz – frembragt af en gruppe bestående af Troels Frost (guitar), Cecilie Strange (tenorsaxofon) og i varierende konstellationer Snorre Kirk, Mikkel Find eller Danni Holm (trommer) og Niels W. Knudsen eller Peter Williams (bas). Musikken er fin, rundet af en smertelig, nordisk melankoli, men også i momenter af et iltert, latinsk temperament. Især når sidstnævnte sætter ind, har musikken kant. The House After Seventeen Yearser et eksempel på et nummer med en sådan kant Men også andre numre rummer en umiddelbart attraktion – og det især fordi Troels Frosts kompositioner, arrangementer og guitarspil fungerer, og fordi Cecilie Stranges sax er så dragende.(Ivan Rod).”
